For over 5 years, I have redeveloped Joshua's Wish, Inc. social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) into an active and engaging presence, showcasing the nonprofit in a relevant and modern fashion. In fact, one of the Co-Founders of the nonprofit, Labrina Solomon, writes more about her journey with her son and her perspective on childhood cancer research. Since a segment target audience consist of mothers who have had a child that suffered from childhood cancer (aka "Cancer Moms"), Joshua's Wish is able to relate more to them, increasing support for the nonprofit and supplying a more realistic face to the organization.
In addition, I have created content and infographics to educate the target audience about childhood cancer and the research that goes into finding a cure. This not only supplied Joshua's Wish with content during low activity time periods, it has also provided supporters more evidence of their impact with every donation Joshua's Wish receives. Having an informed and educated support system increases the strength of the mission and legacy of Joshua's Wish.
